Allowed Waste Types

General Rubbish

Clothes, toys, furniture, office junk, household junk, electrical items, light timbers. Household & office junk, clothes, furniture, toys, packaging, plastics, cardboard, glass, light timbers, odds & ends, electrical items, white goods, empty paint cans/ aerosols.

Heavy Waste

This includes tiles, bricks, concrete, soil, sand, rubble, stones, pavers, cement. MINI 2m³ SKIP (400kg) – Allow up to 2 wheelbarrows. STANDARD 4m³ SKIP (500kg) – Allow up to 2 wheelbarrows. HEAVY (800kg) 4m³ SKIP – Allow up to 4 wheelbarrows. This is a guide to help maintain bin weights. If you are unsure, please call our friendly team.

Building Waste

Timber, steel, carpet, windows. This includes timber, plasterboard, metal off-cuts, carpet, doors, cupboards, windows, kitchen/backroom demolitions.

Green Waste

Small trees, branches, garden clippings. Includes small trees & branches (max 25mm diameter), shrubs, odd plants & pots, grass clippings, weeds, flowers, twigs, leaves.

Not Allowed

Dangerous & Disallowed Materials

Asbestos, Poisons, radioactive materials, oils, paints, thinners, chemicals, batteries, petrol & diesel & other fuels, gas bottles, household cleaners, tyres.
